In 1984, our future history book on the networking generation 1984-2024 was published in 5 languages. It built on entrepreneurial revolution surveys and future history maps of my father’s career long work at The Economist. Our Death of Distance scenario forecast unprecedented changes waving around the world including 7 compounding crises to human sustainability. We suggested that by 2010 it would be necessary to identify 30000 deep social projects and replicate them through people’s networks wherever they had interlocal relevance.
